Aerin’s parents emigrated to America from Northern England and settled in Ohio where she was born. After graduating with a High Honors degree in English Literature from The University of Cincinnati, Aerin moved to New York City where she built a successful career in marketing and product management. Her work led to subsequent senior leadership positions at Nike, The Walt Disney Company, and several private equity and venture-backed start-ups.

In addition to writing books, her creative pursuits also include playing guitar and recording her own rock and jazz compositions. When she’s not spending time with children, writing, or playing music, you can find Aerin riding her Suzuki Hayabusa on her quest to find the perfect magical road.
