Amy Marie Turner lives where the high desert is shadowed by the soaring peaks of the Sawatch Range, also known as Salida, Colorado. Amy’s academic background is in biology and anthropology, and she spent much of her professional career preparing proposals and managing projects for environmental consultants. She moved to freelance editing and writing in the halcyon days before the pandemic. Her first historical fiction novel,Voyage of the Pleiades is forthcoming from Fauve Press, in June 2023. Amy is editing A Garden of Shadows, the second book in the series, as well as working on various creative projects that explore our sense of place and identity.
