Anvi Hoàng grew up in Vietnam and taught ESL for six years before coming to the U.S. for graduate studies. In 2015 she co-founded and has since managed a non-profit organization, working closely with professional musicians, dancers, and visual artists across the country. In figurative currency, she has become more Vietnamese than a Vietnamese and more American than an American because of the fluidity and richness of this life. Anvi is working on her second book.
