Ardnas Marie grew up watching B-Rated horror movies with her mother. As a teenager, she created her own scary stories. Writing remained a hobby until Larry Taylor, per his dying request, asked she publish Disturbance In The Darkness: A Fated Encounter in 2019, unfortunately unedited. Upon his passing, Ardnas discontinued the book, despite a 4.8 star rating and inquiries about book 2, and worked with an editor to re-release the book on December 31, 2021.
Though Ardnas reads most genres, horror/suspense/thriller is her favorite. She's a Stephen King fan and collects his books. Her favorite is The Dark Half. When asked if she's going to be the new Stephen King, Ardnas humbly replied: "Mr. King is a master of his craft. I'm simply a pebble in the cobblestone road he laid".
