Byron Schneider is the author of Poems to Science and Industry and Early On. He earned his degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Colorado, Boulder (where his relative, Henry Drumm, was the school's first graduate in 1882), and received the Henry Austin Award for literary merit from St. John's College (Annapolis/Santa Fe). He has worked as an editor for Westview Press, UCSF, Jossey-Bass Publishers, and John Wiley & Sons. Byron and his wife make their home in the San Francisco Bay Area.
