Carla Trueheart is a New England-based writer who holds certificates in poetry, romance writing, copyediting, forensic science writing, historical fiction writing, and writing for young adults. She has studied writing at Gotham Writers’ Workshop and The Writers Studio and holds an MFA as well as a master's degree in Creative Writing and English from Southern New Hampshire University. She currently works as a writing coach for Southern New Hampshire University and as an English professor at Post University. Her first novel, The Ritual of the Four, was a finalist in the 2016 International Book Awards.
Carla enjoys collecting books and pretending she has an in-home library. She also likes listening to '80s pop and rock, concocting culinary masterpieces for her family, and engaging in mental conversations with the characters in her books.
