Carmen Cady is an avid reader who grew frustrated that she couldn’t find a book with all the elements she loved, so she took matters into her own hands and decided she’d write a book. She’s the first to admit it was a foolhardy plan. But as luck would have it, she met an author and editor that same week, and the rest is history.

Carmen holds two master’s degrees. She is fascinated by human psyche—issues people face, what drives their behaviors, and uses that knowledge to develop the internal worlds of the characters she creates.

When she’s not studying the human condition, crunching numbers, or crafting new stories to share with the world, she loves to spend time with her adult children and living in her cat’s home in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
