Chip Walter is an award winning author, journalist, National Geographic Explorer, filmmaker and former CNN bureau chief. He has an unusually broad background that spans both science and entertainment. Chip's work reaches out to mainstream audiences to explore complex topics that relate to the human condition: artificial intelligence, human evolution, emotion, behavior and creativity. He is the author of six books and three screenplays and has published articles in National Geographic magazine, Slate, The Economist, Wall Street Journal, and many others.
