"The Voice of the Wooden Dragon" is Christie's first novel. Her short stories for young readers may be read at East of the Web, Skipping Stones, and Ember: A Journal of Luminous Things. Her prior book, as Christina G. Waldman, was "Francis Bacon's Hidden Hand in Shakespeare's 'The Merchant of Venice': A Study of Law, Rhetoric, and Authorship (New York: Algora Publishing, 2018). She is a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Illinois and SIU-C School of Law (now called "Simmons School of Law"). She writes for a publisher of legal reference books.
