I emigrated from England to Tasmania at the age of nine. Married with three children and six grandchildren. Following a career in justice and counselling, I now enjoy bushwalking, sailing, studying German and devoting more time to my lifelong passion for music. Formerly an oboist, I took up the violin at a mature age and am now a member of a local amateur orchestra. With my novel 'A Soldier's Quartet, I am a first-time author and, in his retirement, have found time to discover more places of interest in Tasmania, research far off places and meet colourful people.
