Daniel’s story as a Navy Chaplain was featured in a book by author Jane Hampton Cook in 2006, and several of his letters written during his combat experience supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 were published in the book titled: Stories of Faith and Courage from the War in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Daniel, along with his family, launched HappyGoLukky Productions in 2019, resulting in the creation of the HappyGoLukky family friendly storytelling podcast that reached a peak rank of #21 on Apple Podcasts and has since received numerous nominations and accolades including being awarded Outstanding Fantasy in Narrative Fiction from the New Jersey Webfest in 2021. Their storytelling improv sessions contributed directly to the creation of Charlie Saves Christmas, the prologue novella to the Chronicles of Eridul series.
Daniel resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with his wife Rachael and their puppy Penny. His children have begun to fly the nest, as children should.
