Dawn Silva, a Sacramento, California native is a singer, songwriter, author, and Funk Diva of epic proportions. She is a former member of Sly & The Family Stone, Rock & Roll Hall inductees Parliament/Funkadelic, and lead singer for the Brides of Funkenstein. The Brides, were voted by Rolling Stone Magazine in 2001 as having one of the top 50 coolest albums of all times. Silva has recorded and toured the world with some of the greatest artists in the industry, before releasing her autobiography to a global underground following.
