A U.S. Navy veteran raised in a military family, Douglas has lived and worked in various locations throughout the continental United States, finally settling with his family in Arizona.  He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, and has held many positions in manufacturing and electric industries, from naval nuclear reactor operator to Senior Reactor Operator, and currently works in supervision of electric grid operations.
