Eddie Shay, also known as Eddie Tse, is a New Zealand author, film director, and screenwriter. The Grand Puppet Master is the first book in his fast-paced, full-of-twists mystery thriller series, featuring New York detective Lacey Green as she navigates through various high-stakes investigations of crimes. Eddie’s career spans writing and directing films and TV series across New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Beijing. He wrote and directed the feature films The Deathday Party (2014) and Devil Hunter (2018), along with the TV series In New York (2020) and The Tower (2022). He lives with his wife and son, enjoying family time when he’s away from work.
