Elsa Watson is the author of the historical adventure-romance novels Maid Marian, The Lady and the Pendragon, and The Other Elizabeth and the dog-friendly romances Dog Days and The Love Dog.​

A Pacific Northwest native, Elsa started writing during a Peace Corps stint in Guinea-Bissau, a small African country. In 2001, she and her husband moved to Bainbridge Island, and in 2004, Maid Marian was published. Their family now lives in beautiful Walla Walla, Washington.​

Her novel Dog Days, named one of the top romances of the year by Publisher’s Weekly, was released by Tor-Forge in 2012, followed by The Love Dog in 2013 and the e-novellas A Christmas Tail (2012) and The Puppy Trap (2013.) The Other Elizabeth was released in 2017 and The Lady and the Pendragon in 2022.
