Frances Grote trained as a psychologist and is an award-winning writer and author of the bestselling Fire In The Henhouse and the short story collection Death, Madness and a Mess of Dogs. Her work has appeared in Glimmer Train, the Del Sol Review and Rehoboth Beach Secrets. She is a graduate of the Master Fiction Workshop at Boston’s Grub Street and the San Juan Writers Workshop, and has studied at the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center and the Iowa Writers Workshop International Writing Program.
