Raised in Winchester, UK, Hannah Dickson moved to a small village in the Limousin Region of France, in 1991, with her family. She attended the local primary school, where she witnessed the abuse of several foster children by the headmaster and mayor. At the age of fourteen, she was sexually assaulted by a foster father, leading her to Believe that child abuse in the area was systemic. Hannah went on to study international law and political science at Toulouse University and Sciences-Po Toulouse, and later graduated from Grenoble University with a Master’s degree in intellectual property law. After a year working in PR in the UK in 2006, she moved to Paris to join an international PR agency in the technology sector. In 2012, she joined surgical robotics startup accelerator Haventure in Grenoble, before taking on the role of legal director of a burgeoning surgical robotics company. Hannah lives in Grenoble with her two children and lunatic staffie.
