Iram Yousuf identifies as a South African Muslim woman. She graduated with a Master's in Law and Philosophy. Her passion has always been fantasy and romance. When she was 14 years old she was diagnosed with OCD. She hopes to bring some elements of herself to her writing to open up the world to people who feel slightly different, but are no less remarkable to remind them that they are not alone. A Gathering of Robins is her first novel.
