Hello My name is Irene and I have recently completed my debut novel which is set in the Great Southern of Western Australia. I am self-publishing and, although I have received some praise and certainly encouragement from family and friends, I would very much like a review on my work by someone outside of my circle. I humbly ask for your assistance. As I wrote, I found the story moving from a post-apocalyptical or survival type tale, to more of a human interaction, which sits in the forefront. I very much enjoyed writing the story, which is around 80,000 words. I loved writing from a young age and, despite some unformed (and let's face it uninspired) pieces a decade or so ago, I finally sat down long enough to do something I'm proud of. I'm 48 and the proud mother of two and grandmother of three. I live in the beautiful Great Southern of Western Australia, so the area is not only the back drop to my story, We're Not Heroes, but the back drop of my life.
