Joe went to Fordham University as an undergrad, then taught at a Catholic elementary school before attending Fordham Law School. He was a practicing attorney and a municipal court judge.
Together with his son, Joe formed Pandolfi Communications in 2010. Among other things, the company currently publishes a series of children’s books, “The Adventures of Mophie and Picholas”, written by Joe and his son.
Trying his hand at writing for adults, Joe won an award for his flash fiction piece, “Psychology for Dummies”. That success led him to write his debut novel, “Mr. Pizza”, which uses his fond memories of teaching as a backdrop.
Joe is a member of the Authors Guild, and attended The Writing Center, in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. He writes articles for Nolo.com, publishes a blog on his website, www.JFPandolfi.com, and is an active member of a local writers' group.
For fifteen years, Joe served on the Board of Trustees of Project Literacy of Greater Bergen County, a non-profit organization which combats adult illiteracy. He was accorded a Special Recognition in Literacy award for his efforts.
