Johan Ottosen was born in 1968 in Aarhus, Denmark and writes thrilling literature that's impossible to put down and has sold more than 50.000 copies of his indie published Mirrin Bank trilogy in Denmark.
As a child, Johan struggled with reading and writing and only learned to write in uppercase letters in sixth grade, which he continued to do until tenth grade, when lowercase letters also started to creep in. Therefore, he had never imagined he one day would be called Denmark's Dan Brown. Johan is also a jazz drummer and has studied drums with the masters Adam Nussbaum and Joe Chambers in New York, as well as Professor Bent Lyllof in Copenhagen. He is trained as a therapist in Breath Integration by Colin P. Sisson and has for many years made a living as a coffee expert.
Johan is married to Charlotte, and they live in the Nørrebro suburb of Copenhagen, with their son, Knud-Magnus.
Fun facts:
Johan roast his own coffee, drive a 95 year old Ford Model A in the summer and, as a dedicated audiophile, had to build his own high-end tube amplifier stereo because what he could buy just wasn't good enough.
