Karen Gilleland is the author of the Diamond-Dennison mystery series, which began with DIAMOND IN THE DESERT. She resides in Boulder, Colo., at the foot of the Rockies, but as a Pisces, she enjoys ocean cruises, trips which inspired her second mystery, DIAMOND ON THE HIGH SEAS.
She spent most of her career as a corporate writer, but after becoming an insanely addicted fan of the Britcom “Doc Martin,” she began writing FanFiction and posted 28 stories on her blog (www.karengilleland.wordpress.com), which reached more than 660,000 visitors. She even traveled to Cornwall to appear as an extra in “Doc Martin,” Series 7, Episode 3.
Writing fiction was so enjoyable that, homebound during the pandemic, Karen branched out into mysteries. The fun continues, as she’s now working on her third book in the Diamond-Dennison series.
