She is also the co-author of Take Two: A Journal for New Beginnings, published by Chronicle Books in 2020, which guides readers through significant life transitions.
Kate holds a degree in English literature and secondary education from Boston College and a master’s degree in education from Stanford University. She has held a credential to teach secondary language arts and completed an endorsement to teach English Language Learners.
Kate is also the Co-Founder and Head of Outreach for ValuesAdvisor, a non-profit organization that empowers investors to align their capital with their social or environmental values by connecting them with the right financial advisor.
She resides in Maine with her husband and high school-aged child and has two young adult children in college.
