A native of England, L B Arthur grew up in Warwickshire, home of the great playwright, William Shakespeare. Spending much of her youth in Stratford-Upon-Avon, she regularly watched plays at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and became particularly interested in the art of storytelling, but it was her Swedish roots which drew her to Old Norse myths and legends, which ultimately inspired her to write new fantasy tales that mix old stories of witches, werewolves and wizards with Norse Mythology; creating new magical creatures for urban fantasy fans. In 2021 her debut novel, 'Ariessy of Midgard' was published.
