L.C. Blackwell enjoyed a 25+ year career writing Print, TV, and Radio commercials for nationally branded clients at 4-A agencies including Leo Burnett, Foote, Cone and Belding, Grey Advertising, and Campbell Mithun. Additionally, Blackwell has authored two children’s books; wrote and produced jingles, a national beauty series for Hispanic radio, a bull-riding special for Telemundo and an ABC affiliate, lifestyle TV pilot segments along with Film and TV treatments for Children's programming.

Current projects include the second book in the Peter Dumas series.
