In his debut novel, Luis Urtueta (Madrid, 1981) explores various themes ranging from the traits of expat life to the intrusiveness corporate cultures exercise in the life of the individual, and in particular examines how introverts can feel estranged from these environments. Luis has written a collection of short stories, Untitled Stories, and recently published his first novel, A Place Under the Sun.
