L.I.T. Tarassenko grew up in Oxford, UK, where he studied for a BA, MPhil and DPhil in philosophy and theology and met and married his wife. After working as a youth worker for a couple of years he then trained to be a secondary school RE and Philosophy teacher. All the while he was writing fiction in his spare time. He has completed a creative writing mentorship with The Literary Consultancy, London, and has had stories published with 1000 Word Challenge, Daily Science Fiction and Philosophy Now. He has written the scripts for two indie videogames. His fiction, for young adults and old children, mashes together the worlds of fantasy, sci-fi, philosophy and theology. He lives in Oxford, UK, with his wife Joanna, an Anglican priestess, and their two children.
