I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Guam. I am of mixed ethnicity but am proud of my CHamoru heritage and ancestry. I am new to writing for entertainment. I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Guam. I am of mixed ethnicity but am proud of my CHamoru heritage and ancestry. I am new to writing for entertainment. I had a late start, now being in my 50's. I've had stories in my head for many years. But only now do I have the opportunity and support to finally share them.
Growing up on Guam, I was exposed to all of the local legends and superstitions. I even had some of my own personal experiences. Every family has their own collection of tales of the supernatural. There are tales of ghosts, haunted houses, and other spine-tingling encounters. But I was surprised that these stories never really made it into novels to be shared with the rest of the world. Internet searches will list novels and movies for such stories from a wide variety of other cultures, but not much about CHamoru tales of the occult or paranormal. So, I wanted to put pen to paper, so to speak, in hopes that audiences might take an interest in the CHamoru culture and heritage.
