I’m a Clinical Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at Mount Sinai in New York City and an Adjunct Professor of Psychology (Neuroscience) at Florida International University (with more than 75,000 followers on Facebook (marcarginteanu.md) and 35,000 followers on Twitter (@ArginteanuMarc)). My debut novel, Azazel’s Public House, a paranormal thriller, was published by Solstice in August 2022. It was named a winner in three categories (Paranormal, Horror and Thriller) by the 2023 Firebird Book Awards. Kirkus reviews has selected Azazel’s for November 2023 magazine as an “Indies Worth Discovering.” My non-fiction, The Mind Unlocked: Neurological, Nutritional and Behavioral Paths to Free Your Brain’s Potential was acquired by Toplight (an imprint of McFarland Publishing) in September of 2022 and is currently available for pre-order. I’ve posted (chapter by chapter) short story series: Bullet to the Brain and Lazarus Dot, Felix Hoenniker medical murder mysteries, on my social media feeds and (so far) they’ve garnered more than 30,000 impressions and more than 3,500 engagements.
