Marti Ward is an award-winning writer, teacher, scientist and entrepreneur known for his serial startups and his interdisciplinary research. He has over 300 scientific publications as well as three authored books and an edited book series with Springer-Nature. He has qualifications in Psycholinguistics, ESL  and across multiple sciences and is a well-known pioneer in AI. As Marti Ward he has published four Science Fiction novels and a number of short stories.

He lives with his wife and his daughter's cat, Danger, who is almost as empathic as Simba, Tam and Sooty: the cats that feature in his three SF book series.
