Mary Davi s Gage is a professional storyteller and retired North Carolina public school teacher. Mary spent 30 years in the classroom teaching theater and visual arts. Mary holds a B. A. in education from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M. A. in Communication & Storytelling Studies from East Tennessee State University. She currently lives in Western North Carolina with her hilarious husband Michael, artistic daughter Anya, and two rescue dogs. Anya Louise Davis was adopted from Moscow Russia at the age of 9 months. From the first time she was given bathtub crayons as a toddler, Anya has been a passionate and dedicated artist. Anya is a high school student who enjoys band, art, and science.
