Mike Mulhern was born in Flushing, NY in 1946 and raised in Ridgewood, NJ. He later resided in Louisiana. He attended five colleges/universities and -- among other jobs -- worked as an editor at five different newspapers. He has seen or met nine U.S. presidents and interviewed many celebrities ranging from Mickey Mantle and Muhammad Ali to Nobel Peace laureates like Archbishop Desmond Tutu. He is currently retired and living in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida with his partner Joyce.
