Norah Lally is a writer who was born in New York City and -- like Vicki, the protagonist in Back to Bainbridge -- experienced many "starting overs" as her family moved multiple times around the NY tristate area and the midwest while she was growing up. She cherishes childhood memories of time spent in her Irish grandmother's neighborhood in the Bronx, which inspired Back to Bainbridge, her first novel. Lally is a graduate of New York University and now lives in Los Angeles, California with her husband, children, and the family Shih Tzu, Murphy.
