I am a Los Angeles native with a lifelong interest in mystery fiction and Los Angeles history. I have a BA in English Literature from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an MA from Cal State University/Northridge. Following a year at the University of Southern California in the Department of English PhD program, I left academia to pursue a career in computer technology.
A few years ago, I published Testimony of a Death/Thelma Todd: Mystery, Media and Myth in 1935 Los Angeles. I have also published in Los Angeles Magazine and write on political and historical events for the Constitutional Rights Foundation, a non-profit specializing in civic education.
