Born 1952 in Solihull, Birmingham UK, an unspoiled only child of Doreen and Alan Cooper. (I added the unspoiled bit) Brought up in Kenilworth, I moved to Warwick in the early seventies and have now settled in Leamington Spa. I first had the intention of writing a book in my late twenties, long before computers, spell check or five children. After about thirty, handwritten foolscap pages, it was abandoned, never to see the light of day again. Now entering retirement and looking for a hobby that can constructively fill a space previously occupied by full-time employment, writing is providing that hobby and a real unexpected pleasure.
