Richard Salahpour is a new author, debuting with his first book, "EVERYTHING IS WRONG". Inspired by Prof. Dr. Yalda Özsunar—a neuroscientist and author of Universal Symphony: A Guide with Scientific Literature, Poetry, and Tales for Self-Healing—he began writing this book during his exploration of Turkey in the summer of 2022. He is an engineer who graduated in 1984 from Louisiana State University. At the age of 28, he started his own construction company in Washington, D.C., with just $100 borrowed to open a bank account for depositing his first paycheck of $50,000 from a contracted job. He was accepted into the circle of Sufism in Washington, D.C., in 1989. He became a certified computer network administrator. He has been a certified holistic health coach and practitioner of holistic medicine for the past eight years. He is known as a medicine man. He has traveled the world, witnessing the beauty of diverse people and cultures. He lived in the jungles of the Southern Pacific of Costa Rica with his wife and two daughters. He is the person friends, family, and sometimes even strangers turn to for help or advice. He is a dreamer, eager to share his insights with anyone willing to listen. He is a naturalist and freedom activist. He has read and deeply understood the Emerald Tablet by Thoth, the god of wisdom and one of the few survivors of Atlantis.
