Born in Havana, Cuba, Robert Barrera immigrated to the United States in 1960 with his family where they established themselves in the Philadelphia, Pa. area until he was sixteen years old. He then moved to Miami, Florida with his family. He is the youngest of five.

Robert received his bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida after which he has pursued several successful business ventures. Presently he operates his own company in the telecom field. He has two adult children of whom he is immensely proud.

He is a certified pilot and has owned several airplanes which were enjoyed for both business and pleasure.

This is his first novel.

Robert presently lives in South Florida and takes full advantage of the weather, water activities, and travel.
