My first attempt to write the novel "Gin & Sin" came years before the Trump era. After I sold my bar on South Padre Island—it was called Rumrunner; where Tequila Sunset stands today—my intent was to return to Hollywood to pursue a career in acting. But a family tragedy changed my life’s trajectory and I became a fulltime caregiver. During that time, the first draft of the book came to fruition. It was entitled As the Barstool Turns.
In 2012 my screenplay Thunderstone was a finalist in both the Beverly Hills Screenplay and Gotham International Screenplay Competitions. My 2019 script Killer Kisses was voted a Top Ten Finalist in the Thriller Category at Cannes.
