Shane is also a former Assistant United States Attorney in Washington, D.C., and Dallas, Texas, where he has tried over 100 civil and criminal cases and has served as lead counsel for 22 oral arguments before appellate courts. He has been an adjunct professor in trial advocacy since 1999 at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. He is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Texas School of Law.
