For a writer I've been so fortunate to have travelled across Canada, the U.S, Mexico, the UK and many European countires. I also grew up in Alberta with a Canadian dad and American mom then lived in two U.S. sates and on the Island of Cyprus, so my settings are researched and authentic. Years before my fiction plots emerged it was journalism [first in high school] where my writing 'began'. From there it expanded to professional work with weekly [Whitecourt Star & Clagary Mirror] then daily newspapers [Calgary Sun, Fort Collins, Coloradoan/USA-Today, Denver Post] and magazines, technical [Oil Week] and mainstream [Colorado Style]. With a background in geology too - my website [Patchwork Publishing] showcases mystery suspense plots for both adult and young teen readers, reflecting a working life that has truly been patch-work, but fun and enriching...
