Sicilian-born, US-educated, long-time Canadian citizen, Tony Manera is a retired engineer, former president of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Vancouver Community College and Niagara College. His non-fiction works have been published by major houses in the US, Japan, and Canada. Relatively new to fiction writing, he was a finalist in the 2021 CRITIQUE MATCH Fiction Five Literary contest (Mystery category). He enjoys spending time with his family, listening to classical music, and gardening year-round at his home in Ottawa, Canada.
