Vince Fratello likes to say he grows rocks for a living. His day job as a scientist has been growing crystals for fiberoptic communication and non-destructive testing applications. They are of the same families as the minerals garnet and perovskite but with constituents and properties Mother Nature never envisioned. Having an avocation for writing, in addition to scientific papers and patents, he has written an unpublished book on yoga breathing and a screenplay that is the basis for this book. In other parts of his life, he is a certified yoga instructor, preaches eight sermons a year in his church, hikes daily with his dogs, and once a year invites everyone he knows over for pasta.
