"I really enjoyed this book. It was a first for me by Josie but it will definitely not be my last. I loved the story line. It takes us back to high school and blends that interest into today. There was one little twist but I am not going to tell you as I don't want to give it away. That woman didn't deserve a dime but Kieran made the right choice to keep her out of their lives. It runs you through some emotions as Desiree and her sister Candee grew up with just each other and a slew of crappy foster homes. It is great, though, what they have done with their lives. It is a small town book, add in some house flippers, a carpenter wanna be chef and a lawyer who doesn't want to give her heart away. If you are looking for a cute read this is the book for you. Just be prepared for the emotions. Highly recommend anything by this author!"

"Desiree Contando has trouble trusting after dealing with drunken parents and being shuffled from one awful foster care home to another. She grew up thinking football star and popular student Keiran O'Malley had it so easy and despite having a crush on him that he would never want anything to do with her. She never dreamed that he would end up living in the attic apartment in her fixer upper while doing carpentry work on it. I loved reading all the wonderful recipes that Keiran cooked up. I would definitely eat at his pub. This was a sweet holiday romance with plenty of humor and yummy foods."
