Babouc’s Vision provides a frightening recognition of the thinness of civilization, of how dysfunctional our “reliable” connections are, forcing us to take stock of the vulnerability of humans in the face of change. It is a poignant narrative about a not-too-distant future and it relates to many of the most urgent issues currently flooding today’s media. – AuthorsReading
“Babouc’s Vision is a strong collection of tales, in novel form. I love how everything starts coming together in the end. As the stories link up, human connection becomes a new theme, however tenuous.” – Independent Book Review
“Babouc’s Vision” was thoroughly enjoyable and difficult to put down, which is always a winning combination. Even the more despicable characters were engaging enough that you cared what happened to them and the ones who were more sympathetic had you actively cheering for their success. “Babouc’s Vision” is an intellectually stimulating science fiction story. – Literary Titan (5 Stars)
Cycles of Norse Mythology, - 2022 PenCraft Book Awards, Fiction - Folklore 1st Place Winner.
Cycles of Norse Mythology is an excellent resource on Norse Myths. With this book, you will learn the stories of the whole pantheon of Norse deities. There is so much in these tales fire breathing giants, weird beings of all sorts, but that just makes the book better. I recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn about the Norse myths.
Melancholic and poignant, Babouc's Vision is a grim reminder of the fact that society's current ills may bear a dark future for our children.…. If you love stories that make you introspect, Babouc's Vision is a gem of a book for you. - Pikasho Deka for Readers’ Favorite (5 Stars)
I found Babouc's Vision by Glenn Searfoss a very peculiar, stimulating, and challenging read. I have never read anything like this novel. It's completely compelling, unpredictable, and a little bit frightening.…..Babouc's Vision by Glenn Searfoss is an absorbing, well-plotted science fiction novel set in a dystopian world that every fan of this genre should not miss. - Emma Megan for Readers’ Favorite (4 Stars)
Honestly, the realism in Babouc's Vision might be too much for some readers. It's easy to see yourself in the characters, depending on where you are in life and especially given the dark, anxious world we live in today….. Glenn Searfoss does a wonderful job of making a case for humanity - the good with the bad, as they both reflect the truth of simple existence. - Katelyn Hensel for Readers’ Favorite (5 Stars)
"Babouc’s Vision is an entertaining and thought-provoking science fiction story that presents an all-too-feasible future and asks readers to question what could be done differently."
