'Baby Love' is the second installment in the 'Maybe Baby Series' and finds Trey Sinclair and Tylar Preston, his fiancée, new parents to an adorable baby girl!
But as their wedding day approaches, Tylar is once again haunted by recurring nightmares that leave her fearful for the safety of her baby. She struggles to unravel her past with the help of a psychologist at Trey's insistence. Together they delve back into Tylar's childhood which opens the door allowing her to secure her future happiness. All is not without cost and there are plenty of surprises along the way.
I'm in love with the Baby series! The second book starts where the first ended which I like because I always want more when I come to the end of one of Andrea Smith's books. My goodness, Andrea has a great imagination and is one of the best story tellers ever! Trey and Tylars lives are full of love for one another and for their precious baby girl, Preston. But if you think this is going to be your typical story of mommy, daddy and baby, Think again! Their lives are full of unexpected circumstances, haunting dreams that are actually premonitions with one of a mothers worst nightmares coming true. Trust me, you never get bored with this book because of too much unnecessary detail to minor things. The unimaginable twists, the surprises, the interaction between characters is more than I could of ever asked for from an author. And yes, Tylars father is revealed and I love the way it all came together. "Very Clever" with some funny moments in the courtroom to give the reader an out loud chuckle. But by the end, you will not be chuckling! You will be gasping and fumbling with your kindle because you can't get to the next book fast enough. All I can say is 5 stars is not a high enough rating for this series.
While fate kept throwing Trey and Tylar together in Maybe Baby...Tylar's past is doing it's damnedest to rip them apart.
Baby Love sees the introduction of Trey and Tylar's daughter Preston. She is the final piece in their puzzle and Trey is determined to make them a complete family unit.
Wedding nuptials are planned and life appears to go on for the new Sinclair Family. That is until Tylar's past threatens her life and that of her daughter's.
Mysteries unfold and answers slowly are brought to the surface, but not until the young Sinclair family are dragged to hell and back.
Ms Smith has continued the erotic passion that Trey and Tylar share but has added more of a thriller element to the story keeping the reader on the edge of their seat.
I love the Sinclairs and I love this series and I am happy to say that there is book 3 to read with more love and drama to come!
I'm in love. I'm not only in love with Trey I have Tristan to love too. I loved the random moments of humor that makes you burst out laughing, it was all those super freak references. I loved the drama and it was a bunch of it, not the kind you get bored with either, but the kind that is like a soap opera with Sally Jesse Raphael and Jerry Springer all rolled up. I also really loved the discovery of Tylar's ancestry. Helping her figure out who she is and giving a sense of peace, though disfunctional, but a family nonetheless. I like the introduction of Tristan and Gina's story with all of their craziness. And for the love of all that's happy, why can't these people have a happy New Year? Overall this is an extremely fantastic read.
