I received a copy of this book from the author.
I have read the first two books of this series and they were very good and this one blows the first two away. The author weaves a darn good story carrying the unknown about the chemical, Cellulous, into a mystery the new residents of Marion, Texas, Jack Callaghan and his wife find mind boggling when residents start to disappear.
There are several people of the town who befriend Jack but their demeanor changes quickly when he asks questions.
Jack enlists the help of his FBI buddy from his military days. Together with Jack's wife, they receive threats from towns people.
From here it gets even stranger when they uncover 50 years of unsolved disappearances of area people. Also, they come upon some info about the town football field and the people guarding it.
Believe me when I tell you this story moves quick. The ending is a mind blower!
