There is only one word to describe this book. Honestly and truly, this is a *masterpiece*.
Beyond being a fun quest story with diverse characters that are, each one, easy to identify with … and beyond the unique “resettable” universe Amy has imagined, and beyond the incredibly complex task the team has to solve … beyond all that, she’s built an amazing, consistent, and totally unique multi-dimensional picture of reality that is scientifically plausible, and yet also *believably* (and ultimately, “scientifically”) supports “magic”.

After nearly six decades of avid SF reading, this is the first time I’ve seen a universe that *fully and believably integrates* “magic”, and “fantasy creatures”, and “quest stories”, and “sword fights” - WITH believable SF hyperspace and spaceships and alien worlds and big-momma weapons and cross-dimensional communicators - PLUS a totally NEW concept of “resettable reality” and a fully populated and explained multi-dimensional paradigm … including explanations of mind and memory and consciousness, and the very building blocks of the entire multi-dim Cosmos.
