Sezen Yayla is a serial killer. There's nothing for her in the village of Yıldızlı to which she returns after years of hopping from corner to corner of Türkiye; except—she hopes—the key to unravelling the past of one of her most elusive kills. Upon hers settling in the Yayla family's secluded old house on the hill, a local by the name of Kusta begins to stalk her. Little does he know that Sezen is well aware. Old habits die hard, so Sezen starts playing games with the man, telling him stories (under pretences of being an author) where the details of her own murderous history hide in plain sight.
