When her brother is poisoned by an environmental accident, she discovers a link between the dead girl and the all-powerful local coal company. Soon Hart is involved in a murky world of drug gangs and cover-ups for environmental poisoning. Ignoring the risks she peels back the layers of small-town corruption, but when her secret is discovered her life gets really dangerous.
