The playboy son of a billionaire refuses to work for his father and is disinherited. His adventures, often perilous, take him from mod London, to the Paris of Nouveau Cinema, to Oktoberfest in Munich, a daring escape from East Berlin, Carnival in Venice, the jungles of Africa and South America, and the underbelly of Tangier. In old age, he reflects on a wasted life.
